Jaideep Tuli MITEGL'23

Jaideep Tuli MITEGL'23

Jaideep Tuli is a multifaceted storyteller—a poet, teacher, and creative leader dedicated to creating spaces for healing through stories. Born in India, he has become a voice for those struggling to express themselves, gaining recognition for his poetry and public speaking. He also founded JD Classes to nurture young minds.

Leaving behind familiarity, Jaideep carried his dreams to Canada where he experienced personal and professional growth at Saint Mary’s University graduating with an International Master of Teaching English and earning the Valedictorian honour in 2023. Guided by the values of his late father, Mr. M.P. Tuli, Jaideep's efforts reflect a deep commitment to cultural connection and empathy.

As the founder of the Multicultural Melody of Words Association, he promotes “Vasudhev Kutumbhakm,” that the world is one family, encouraging artists to share their narratives. He also coordinates Antar-rashtriya Kavi Sangam in Canada, bridging global artistic communities.

Jaideep Tuli is dedicated to promoting cultural awareness and celebrating diversity in Halifax. He helps organize multicultural festivals and speaks out to encourage positive change. Jaideep also serves on the Dartmouth Learning Network and the Halifax Theatre for Young People, contributing to the community with his active involvement and commitment.

Jaideep's Instagram features poetry videos that celebrate vulnerability. Recently honoured for his work by Antar-rashtriya Kavi Sangam, Jaideep illustrates the transformative power of words and inspires others to share their stories.
