Fund Managers
Fund Managers are the main fiduciaries of the fund and are responsible for making all decisions with regards to asset allocation, sector allocation, and security selection. Each Fund Manager is assigned to specific industry sectors and receives valuable assistance from at least one Research Associate.

Alexia VermaAlexia is a fifth year co-op student double majoring in Finance and Marketing with a minor in Entrepreneurship. She has experience in the retail sector and is currently working with Sobeys Inc. as an Assistant Category Manager. As a part of IMPACT Fund, Alexia is a Fund Manager for the Consumer Staples and Discretionary sector and after graduation plans on pursuing a career in the banking or retail industry. |

Bill GillisBill Gillis is a fourth-year Bachelor of Commerce student with a double major in Finance and Economics. He has gained valuable experience through multiple co-op placements, most recently completing a term with CUA as a Financial Services Representative. As part of the IMPACT Fund, Bill is a Fund Manager for the Industrial, Healthcare, and Energy sectors. He intends to pursue the CFA designation and a career in capital markets, with a primary focus on equity research, asset management, or wealth management. |

Brandon ZwickerBrandon is a fifth year student pursuing a major in Finance. He has experience working in the public accounting sector during the peak busy season as well as experience working in the retail sector. He is also involved with Junior Achievement, a volunteer organization that teaches business and entrepreneurial skills to youth. After graduation, he aims to work in the commercial banking industry. |

Brett Lanigan
Brett is a fourth year Bachelor of Commerce student double majoring in Finance and Accounting. He has a strong interest in financial modelling and is always finding new ways to improve his valuations. Within the IMPACT Fund, Brett is a Fund Manager responsible for the Materials and Energy sectors. After graduation he plans to complete the CFA designation and work in asset management. |

Ethan CrossmanEthan, an MBA candidate at SMU, serves as the REITs Fund Manager for the IMPACT Investment Fund and Vice President at Endurance Equities Corp., a real estate development firm. He leads transformative projects in Atlantic Canada and is a StFX graduate with a BBA in Finance and Economics. A former varsity hockey player, Ethan is building a dynamic career in asset management and real estate development. |

William CookWilliam is a third-year commerce student majoring in Finance and Economics. He is the current Fund Manager for the Financials & REITs sector, focusing on banks & non-bank financials, with previous experience as a research associate in the sector. William is Candidate for CSC in April 2025, with the aspiration of completing CFA Level 1 next year. William has a passion for business development and plans to pursue a career in the financial service sector. |
