How to apply to the SLRA

Below is a break down of how your SLRA application will be accessed.

The Letter of Interest is evaluated based on:

  • Quality of writing
  • Arguments to support your application and long-term goals
  • Evidence of professional and personal growth through leadership experiences
50%

Your Leadership roles over the last 12 months including:

  • Initiatives and leadership actions taken
  • Recognitions and awards received 
  • On and off campus engagement and the impact your contributions have had on both
10%

Recommendation Letter
  • Letter of Interest 
  • Experience Record 
  • Unofficial Academic Transcript 
  • Letter of Recommendation 

Further details about each of the above components can be found on Career360° under the ‘Programs & Awards’ tab. Please ensure everything is uploaded to the application portal before the deadline. 

The application will open on January 6th 2025. The application deadline is February 17th, 2025 at 4:00pm. We encourage you to submit your application package early.
