Community Partners

SMU has developed three main programs through which students, community partners and the university come together in a profitable synergy. Through these programs:

we develop and strengthen our relationships with our communities,
we provide space for our students to be socially responsible and civically engaged
we recognize and value community partner knowledge, skills and experience,
we work together to accomplish goals that may otherwise not have been possible

Our Community Partners encompass non-profits, charities, publicly funded institutions, student societies, on-campus organizations and social enterprises such as Adsum, Nova Scotia Environmental Network and Community Food Room.
